Gothic reporting marks

ExactRail is offering the Signature Series Southern Pacific C-50-7 caboose with 2 variations of Gothic-style reporting marks. The variation is that these reporting marks were positioned in different locations on the car side. In the first group, SP #4600-4610 have reporting marks which are centered on a single sheet panel. In the second group, SP #4612-4632 have reporting marks which are centered on a weld seam between adjacent side sheets. As of the present, we don't have photo evidence verifying to which group SP #4611 belonged.

The 2 variations of Gothic reporting marks are shown in the photos below. The accompanying SKUs and road numbers for ExactRail's release are also shown.

Railex & ExactRail's Trinity 64' Reefer

Click on any image to see it full-size

Railex, LLC is the nation's only unit train provider for produce transportation! Operating 3 major transload distribution centers, produce is shipped from Delano, CA and Wallula, WA to Rotterdam, NY in dedicated unit refrigerated trains. Railex incorporates the most progressive technology to operate in an efficient and environmentally conscious manner, and this innovation has garnered the attention of the History channel, Trains Magazine, and other major media outlets.

When Railex's major Rotterdam facility wanted Trinity TRINCool 64' reefers for display in their sales office, they came to ExactRail! We are so pleased that ExactRail would be Railex's choice when promoting themselves to their clients!

Way to go Railex!

Did you know...

- ExactRail had access to an enclosed and well lit facility, and we spent 18 hours carefully dimensioning every aspect of the TRINCool 64' reefer over a period of two days!

- Field measurements are more reliable than builder's prints when obtaining accurate freight car dimensions. It happens that car dimensions change with engineering amendments during production, and it is often the case that the original builder's prints aren't updated with these changes.

- In total, ExactRail traveled over 1,800 miles building a targeted portfolio of research information. In the end, this portfolio consists of meticulous dimensions and hundreds of concentrated engineering and artwork photos.

...All of this, and the results are yours to enjoy.

Happy railroading!
